Fall River Hot Air Balloon Festival
The 7th annual festival kicks off in Centennial Park at noon on Friday, August 26. Magician Jared Furnau will be preforming for free. Following his performance, Jared will be making balloon animals for kids. There will also be vendors, food, a farmer’s market and kid activities in the park. The kickoff will end with a free concert from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
On Saturday at 6 a.m., 30 balloons will launch from Hot Springs Airport (weather permitting). Make sure to watch out for SPECIAL GUEST BALLOONS DARTH VADER AND YODA. Please bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket due to limited bleacher seating.
Entrance to the festival is FREE. There will be light refreshments available at the airport. And don’t forget to buy your official festival t-shirt and balloon memorabilia.

The fun Doesn’t End With the Balloon Launch
Head into Hot Springs for more all-day fun, including a walk-in balloon and Fun Zone at The Mammoth Site! Centennial Park activities kick off with a Fun Run and breakfast. There will be free giant inflatables, obstacle courses and bouncy houses on Saturday.

Saturday Night features the “Glow around Town.” Balloons will be glowing at the Mammoth Site, Centennial Park, Butler Park and the State Veterans Home.
The POW/MIA and Stars and Stripes balloons will glow at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home. And don’t miss the special guest balloons YODA and DARTH VADER glowing at Butler Park!
On Sunday (weather permitting) the balloons will once more soar into the sky from the Hot Springs Airport.
