Baked Zitti

All the comfort of lasagna with less assembly and fewer moving parts.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ziti or penne pasta, cooked
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 jar marinara sauce about 24 oz.
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Method
 

  1. Brown meat in a skillet and drain.
  2. Mix cooked pasta with sauce, ricotta, seasoning and meat.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 dish.
  4. Top with mozzarella and parmesan.

Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until melted and bubbly.
